Two years ago, I decided to quit trying to squeeze art into my lunchbreaks and stepped out of journalism to focus on creating art and writing full time.

(True story: I sketched so often at one early-closing coffee shop that they must have figured I was harmless and would lock up and ask me to let myself out.)

After a year of housesitting, it was time to take my studio out of my car boot (and off other people’s kitchen tables) and ground it. I love the fruitfulness moving to Sydney has made possible in my creative work, but I miss the dogs.

For me, art is about embracing the depth of what it means to live, and to live a life to the full. I hope to quietly speak beauty through an image, and to have someone walk away changed.

I have an online greeting card and art print business named Glory + Goodness, which has faith as its focus. I love to present faith in a fresh way, and to make people laugh.

Blessed to have a studio at home, grace and coffee are at the core of my creative process as I sketch out an idea for a new saint artwork, or work on a greeting card.

Please drop me a line if you’re interested in collaborating, or for commissions.

Thanks for sharing my journey!

Best wishes,

Naomi
